As a team we improve commercial excellence of organizations, by empowering their people. Lasting change demands creativity. To inspire creativity Motion5 works with a diverse team of passionate individuals, each with their own story and background. What connects us? The satisfaction we get from our impact
on organizations. Because each and every one
of us loves making a difference.
I am Frijke Weeda, Managing Director of Motion5 and responsible for commerce. On an international level I also function as change manager for my clients.
By now, I have acquired a lot of commercial knowledge. I bring this knowledge to our projects and incorporate it in a personal and reliable way. When I can challenge and connect people: that's when I shine.
Do you hear someone humming musically along the Motion5 corridors? That might just be me. My iTunes playlist shifts from Lizz Wright to Disclosure and can be heard during the break of each training. Because great atmosphere and great performance go hand in hand!
"I'm proud when, together, we have an impact on an organization. When the new way of working becomes part of a culture."
I'm Peter Rademakers, Founder and Principal Consultant at Motion5.
After years of experience in the Ordina board room, I founded Motion5 in 2003, which has since grown into a wonderful company. The name Motion5 was based on our vision. Today, I still convey this vision on change and commerce to our clients with great conviction.
I constantly strive to improve the content of our products. I have plenty of time for that, since I'm no longer in charge of day-to-day affairs.
I bring my experience, creativity and strong analyses to our clients—in addition to a well-filled suitcase, because I often work abroad. My passport is quite full by now, bearing stamps from Dubai, India and Aruba.
"I always keep a good camera in my suitcase. Because even when I'm off duty, I like to keep analyzing, and maintain a sharp eye."
I am Robert Bartels, Consultant at Motion5.
After my education in marketing management at the University of Tilburg, I got to work as account manager. I made the conscious decision to work in a sales position in a very competitive industry, so I could put my passion for winning new clients to good use. After a few years of concrete sales experience I made the step towards Motion5. Now I help companies select and strengthen ties with new strategic clients.
I want to convince organizations and salespeople that strengthening the ties with new clients is not scary or impossible; it should be fun and successful instead. This change in mindset is my ultimate goal!
What is my main characteristic? Always bringing out the best in myself and those around me. Not just at Motion5 and with client projects, but on my own time too, on my racing bicycle. Every sprint, climb and turn taken has to be more explosive, faster and better.
"I don't see growth as a distant ambition. It's a road that can't be bypassed in your journey to success."
I am a Principal Consultant and also a Strategic Partner of Motion5.
I am a tenured sales executive with 20 years of experience in European sales organizations for top IT companies.
During my career, I had the opportunity to manage teams of 3 to 50 people, influencing between 50 and 100 extended sales teams, either directly or in virtual team. That taught me several important guidelines which are directly applicable to the Motion5 Commercial Excellence approach!
If I am passionate about Commercial Excellence, managing people remotely and mastering the whole sales cycle; I am also passionate about sailing, rugby and fitness. During the good season, you will probably find me steering a boat somewhere in the Netherlands
My name is Sarah Post, working as a consultant and project manager at Motion5 where I fully can express my passion for sales.
The common thread in my career is Sales, especially in highly dynamic, high-end hospitality. In the recent years as a director sales & marketing. A position in which I was part of a demanding network of partners, customers & suppliers with ultimate responsibility for proactive and reactive sales teams. In my work I have had a lot of focus on training and coaching my (often young) teams. I was also involved in the implementation of a CRM system within one of my hotels.
I have learned to raise quality and service to art, and to focus on the customer experience at all times. Speaking of art, I am a lover of art and especially painting art and have a special interest in historically relevant events that explain why we make choices today. That is why I have followed a number of courses in art and art history.
What I bring to projects is a lot of dynamism, fresh ideas and solid project experience. I know how important it is to be and to stay relevant. And I like to walk the extra mile for that.
I'm Jacqueline van Woudenberg, Head of the financial administration at Motion5. That means that I mostly deal with our invoices, and enter them into our bookkeeping system. And that is important, because it keeps our company healthy.
We have a beautiful office in Mijdrecht, where we receive clients and organize many trainings. The building should look beautiful and neat, so people enjoy working there and enjoy coming back quickly, and I'm proud to say I also attend to this.
I also enjoy creating a pleasant atmosphere outside of Motion5. Like for instance in Curaçao, or when I play tennis with my friends, and then go for a bite to eat—and some wine.
"My team can count on me taking care of everything adequately, and no-nonsense."
My name is Karen Howard. As an associate consultant at Motion5, I am committed to building international, strategic network in Healthcare.
After studying Russian Studies at the Leiden University, I started working in recruitment, in the Netherlands as well as in the UK.
In this competitive industry, you differentiate yourself by acquiring specialized market knowledge, goal-oriented identification of customer needs and the ability to find suitable solutions quickly.
I have further developed my international commercial skills in in-house sales/ lead generation roles in various sectors. From hard- and software manufacturing to logistics and business intelligence. The last years remote since I have lived in the UK after 12 years now moved to Belgium.
In my spare time I organize international hockey tournaments and fairs. Besides skiing, my main sport activity I like to do is encouraging others along the line.
My name is Bas Belder and I recently retired after 34 years of service with P&O Ferrymasters. During this period, I fulfilled a number of roles and was the Finance Director for 7 years and the Managing Director for 13 years. I have a financial background and hold professional qualifications in both general business and accounting.
Motion5 played an instrumental part during this process. Their open views, tools and pragmatic approach helped me to successfully change the company. Motion5’s role included, beside the commercial process, also the change management and structural change process.
I am really looking forward using my expertise and the dedicated Motion5 staff to help other organisations to achieve similar successes.
"And don’t forget: It all starts with the right ambition."
I am Renaat Vermeulen, Associate Consultant for Motion5.
Motion5 and I came into contact during my period as President of Biomet EMEA, a big international player in the medical device industry. Within Biomet I held various functions in sales, marketing and international management positions. For a long time, I was also on the board of directors of Eucomed, the medical device trade association.
I now use those 29 years of experience in the orthopedic industry when managing complex change programs at a senior level. I do this as an independent consultant, but in close collaboration with Motion5.
Just like in our previous collaboration at Biomet, we do this with the same vision in mind and with a great deal of passion for the content of our field. That is why we constantly strive to improve sales, change & leadership programs, and Leadership Unplugged is a great example of that!
"We constantly strive to improve sales, Leadership Unplugged is a great example of that!"
My name is Henri Janssen, associate consultant at Motion5.
With a financial-economical background, I have worked at Philips and TU Eindhoven in the beginning of my professional career. After that as CEO in Healthcare industry for hospitals.
My last managerial job was at the Saxenburgh group, consisting of a hospital, rehabilitation and elderly care centre. The Saxenburgh group was almost bankrupt in 2013, but re-gained a solid position in terms of financial performance. With my clear vision on the future role of hospitals, I prepared many partners to join a successful cooperation. The triangle Healthcare insurance company – the hospital – and the industry is essential in this. Two questions, directly related to the patient, are central in my approach: what do you need and when do you need it?
I’m proud on the ambitious collaboration with General Practitioners in Coevorden, to strengthen the basic health of their residents in the region. This is a great initiative where you clearly see that the primary and secondary care providers join forces. I am passionate to qualitatively improve hospital – and eldery care.
I now bundle and use my experience and expertise in close collaboration with Motion5.
"Together, we want to help directors in the Healthcare sector with themes such as the development of strategic partnerships, creating a strong internal culture & external positioning of the hospital."
As a sales executive with more than 25 years of experience in IT sales organizations, I have worked for major American companies (Cisco, US Robotics ...) and for starting organizations.
Implementation and Leadership have always been important operational rules for me.
I have been able to master characteristic aspects such as "self-starting" and "influential", thanks to the trusted advisor position that I have built with my valuable internal and external contacts.
I think it’s really important to develop yourself and I have recently followed a training program on innovation and the emergence of artificial intelligence.
Managing an international team and aligning it with a common goal has always been a constant ambition. And also supporting people. To achieve this, you first have to shape and build the common value. How do you ensure that you have the right methodology and the required tools and skills?
This is exactly what Motion5 is all about ... movement! Listening, taking into account expectations, interviewing people and assessing the ecosystem. So that there can be good cooperation, smart connections are made and skills are improved.
In my spare time I like to read and travel. I also like running to stay in balance and to reflect
I'm Kjell 't Hoen, Serious Games Designer at Motion5. While still actively working in the games industry, I support Motion5 in digitizing and gamifying their programs.
My focus is to turn existing ideas into intuitive and easy to use applications. Not only for our concept like SPORTSMAN, COACH and CCA but also to use Gamification methods and technologies in change management programs. An important element is Fun. Why?
Gamification seeks to take enjoyable aspects of work and life – happiness, plays and challenges – to apply them to actual business processes; furthermore it’s is about understanding and influencing (positive) human behaviour that everybody wants to encourage amongst their colleagues.
A game involves the entire organization in the process, white collar and blue collar, different countries, different languages, in a relatively short period of time. I have a lot of experience in designing and developing games in all corners of the industry, from casual to mid-core to serious games.

My name is Francine Rademakers, and I am a marketing consultant at Motion5. I specialize in content (in both Dutch and English) and have extensive knowledge of the Motion5 portfolio.
When I am not at work, I am usually reading or walking my dog.
My name is Kaoutar El Kaouini, I am a Law Student at VU University in Amsterdam. I started my career at Motion5 in July 2020, just after I finished my first year of Law school.
I always aim to bring out the best in myself and others. Whenever I’m working on something, I want to do it perfectly. Also, I like to have as much knowledge on different areas as possible. Starting as a marketing intern at Motion5 seems as a perfect challenge and learning opportunity to me. I believe I am going to learn a lot during my days here at Motion5.
Working at Motion5 is going to be a great experience to me, as I haven’t got a lot of skills yet concerning marketing. Even though I study Law, I’m also interested in marketing and sales.
In the past I have worked as a sales assistant at the Bijenkorf, at Scapino and as a cashier. So, I do have some experience regarding sales. I’ve also worked as a waitress. Now it’s time for something more professional and more challenging. Therefore, I’m glad Motion5 has given me this opportunity.
